The Causse Méjean and the Causse Noir are splendid limestone plateaus presenting various natural environments. On the Causse Mejean there are steppes and on both there are caves, gorges and underground rivers. During this trip you go for thematic full-day or half-day rides. For dinner, you taste local delectable food.

You are accommodated on the Causse Méjean where scenery is beautiful and rough, where people are keen on their way of life.

This stay can be organized with a fully qualified local guide or not.

 

 
  PROGRAM
   
Each day, we propose a new ride which takes you inside great and wide landscapes on the Causse Méjean and in the Cevennes. It is the opportunity to encounter the diversity of the natural and cultural heritage in the region.

GUIDE, LEVEL, TRAINING AND OPTION

Guided tour
The rides can be guided by a fully qualified local guide - groups depart from 4 persons.
This person is passionate by his region and he knows how to share with you his knowledge about landscapes, the flora and the fauna or the heritage.
Self guided tour
You are given maps (1cm=250m) and a road book describing the itineraries.
- Accommodation, meals and visits are booked by ourselves.
Level 
This hike is quite easy, although you need to be in a good shape. A regular physical effort all year long will help you to have fun during this trip.
Optional : flight with a glider or with a small plane 
Two km away from your accommodation, a countryside airport can organize flights by gliders or planes. You can discover the area from the sky. On request.

HEBERGEMENT & RESTAURATION
  - Accommodation in an inn at the heart of the Cevennes National Park (arrival the day before).
- Lunch: Picnics given each morning before departing.
- Dinners : Traditional local meals.
