The garrigue
It is an emblematic area of the Mediterranean territories. It is not only a natural environment but also one that has been inhabited for thousands of years, as shown by the numerous remains. To come to the garrigue is to enjoy a rich nature, a "generous" geology - where limestone is king - and remarkable landscapes. Rocky and arid in the summer, it is nonetheless of exceptional biodiversity.
